Following a day of football and learning, Moses had another reason to celebrate as he took on the role of Community Mascot for Mansfield Town's fixture against Oxford United.

One of our mascots enjoyed an extra-special surprise at last night’s fixture, just days before her birthday on Sunday! After discovering her favourite player, Lucas Akins, wasn’t in the starting line-up, we wanted to make sure her evening still had a special moment to remember.

Through Mansfield Town Community Trust’s Sports College programme, Patryk completed two years of BTEC Sports Coaching and Development, developing the skills and confidence to progress to degree-level study at the University of South Wales (USW).

As part of our commitment to improving mental health and wellbeing within the local community, weekly football and wellbeing sessions were opened to individuals receiving support from local mental health services. The Active Minds sessions provide a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where participants can enjoy physical activity, social interaction and open conversations around mental health.

Mansfield Town Community Trust is committed to creating clear pathways for young people to progress into employment, volunteering and leadership roles within sport. A key priority is supporting young people to develop the skills, qualifications and confidence required to access meaningful opportunities, particularly within the local workforce.

Harvey has been attending Premier League Kicks sessions delivered by Mansfield Town Community Trust for a number of years, regularly participating at the One Call Stadium and other community venues. Harvey lives with ADHD and has spent time outside of mainstream education, receiving mentoring support to help him overcome barriers affecting his education, behaviour and personal development.
