From the tournament to matchday: Moses becomes Community Mascot

Following a day of football and learning, Moses had another reason to celebrate as he took on the role of Community Mascot for Mansfield Town's fixture against Oxford United.

Moses was among the young participants who took part in Mansfield Town Community Trust's intra-tournament and educational workshops in support of the EFL's Together Against Racism campaign.

The event brought participants together to enjoy football while exploring important topics around equality, inclusion and tackling discrimination. The workshops provided an opportunity to reflect on how everyone can help create a more welcoming environment, both within football and in the wider community.

As part of the event, a participant was randomly selected to receive a Community Mascot experience, with Moses chosen to enjoy a special evening at the One Call Stadium.

The experience was sponsored by FilterFinder, whose support helped make the opportunity possible. Support like this helps the Trust create memorable matchday experiences for young people and families, making opportunities to connect with their local club more accessible.

Mansfield Town Community Trust would like to thank FilterFinder for supporting Moses's experience and helping make the evening extra special.
