As part of the EFL’s Scan for Smile campaign, we’re proud to recognise Alfie, whose dedication to supporting grassroots football in his local community has made a real difference.

Kyson, a Year 6 student, was identified for project support due to his additional needs and limited confidence in taking on leadership opportunities within school.

The English Football League (EFL) has launched Scan to Smile, a new feelgood initiative rolling out across EFL stadiums in England and Wales this month, designed to spread positivity, beat the January blues, and shine a spotlight on the lifechanging work delivered by Football Club charities.

National Academy proudly represented Mansfield Town at the Utilita Girls Cup Area Finals, hosted by Derby County Community Trust, in what proved to be a memorable and hard-fought day of football.

Our Christmas Holiday Activities and Food delivery was packed with festive fun, smiles, and unforgettable memories for everyone involved.

The festive spirit was alive and well at King’s Mill Hospital yesterday, as players and staff from Mansfield Town Football Club, alongside the Mansfield Town Community Trust, paid a special visit to the children’s ward. Alongside manager Nigel Clough, his coaching team, and everyone’s favourite mascot, Sammy the Stag, the squad brought bundles of gifts to brighten the holiday season for poorly children and their families.

This past Tuesday, our supporters once again showed the true spirit of Mansfield Town. Together, you donated a fantastic range of clothing and non-perishable food items to support The Beacon Project – a Mansfield-based day centre that provides vital support for homeless, excluded, and marginalised people in our community.

Saturday was our dedicated fixture for the White Ribbon campaign, and today, on White Ribbon Day, we’re highlighting the powerful message behind it. Yesterday, the Utilita Girls Cup Local Finals brought together 10 schools from across Nottinghamshire for a day of competitive and enjoyable football, with each team aiming for the chance to represent Mansfield Town in the next stages of the competition. Our Clipstone crew absolutely smashed it on our latest HAF adventure — a full day of fun at Ninja Warrior Sheffield!  From swinging, climbing, and balancing to a few (hilarious!) wipeouts, everyone gave it their all and showed true ninja spirit. Lifelong Mansfield Town supporter Stuart enjoyed a memorable 80th birthday when his family surprised him with a special visit to the RH Academy yesterday. Stuart met manager Nigel Clough, the players and staff, and watched the first-team squad in training.

Last weekend, our Post-16 students hosted a special Family and Friends 5-a-side tournament in celebration of World Mental Health Day. The event aimed to raise awareness and funds for mental health support, an important cause for our students and the trust. On Friday 10th October, Mansfield Town Community Trust welcomed Year 6 pupils from Mapplewells Primary, St Joseph’s Primary, and Parkgate Academy to the One Call Stadium for a special Hello Yellow Day, marking World Mental Health Day. The stadium was filled with laughter, learning, and, of course, lots of yellow as pupils explored what it means to look after their mental wellbeing.
