Stags Visit Mapplewells for Yellow & Blue Day Ahead of Community Fixture

In the build-up to Mansfield Town Community Trust’s designated Community Day fixture, schools across the Mansfield area have been encouraged to take part in a special Yellow & Blue Day, showing their support for the Stags and the work of the Trust.

Among those taking part was Mapplewells Primary School, who welcomed a special visit from the Community Trust earlier today. Joining the celebrations were club mascots Sammy and Sally, alongside first team players Deji Oshilaja and Frazer Blake-Tracy.

The visit provided a fantastic opportunity for students to engage with the club, as the players took part in a Q&A session, sharing their experiences and answering questions from the children. There was also time for signing items, creating memorable moments for everyone involved.

The fun didn’t stop there, with Sammy and Sally even being roped into a lively game of Red Light, Green Light, much to the delight of the pupils.

The visit is part of a wider programme of activity leading into Saturday’s Community Day fixture, which celebrates the impact and reach of Mansfield Town Community Trust across the local area.
