Community Week: Tommy Case Study

It’s Community Week, a special time dedicated to celebrating the work we do and, most importantly, the incredible people who make it all possible across our Trust.

Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing stories from across our programmes, highlighting the real impact behind our sessions, camps, and community initiatives. From players taking their first steps into football to long-term participants growing in confidence both on and off the pitch, each story reflects what Community Week is all about: connection, growth, and belonging.

⚽ Spotlight on Tommy

To kick things off, we’re proud to share the story of Tommy, a long-term participant of our football camps. Over the Easter holidays, Tommy completed his final sessions with us after being part of the programme for a long time.

Tommy’s journey is a brilliant example of what sustained participation can look like, showing commitment, enthusiasm, and a real love for the game. Over the years, he has been part of countless sessions, developed his skills, and grown alongside coaches and teammates who have supported him every step of the way.

While it’s always bittersweet to say goodbye, we’re incredibly proud of everything Tommy has achieved during his time with us. His journey is exactly what Community Week is about celebrating individuals, their progress, and the lasting impact of community sport.

💙 Looking Ahead to Community Day

As we build up to Community Day this Saturday, we’ll continue sharing more stories that showcase the heart of our programmes and the people at the centre of them.

Community Day is a chance for us all to come together, reflect on what we’ve achieved, and look forward to what’s next. It’s also an opportunity to support the work that makes these experiences possible.
