On match days at The One Call Stadium, the community trust oversee player mascots which let youngsters experience what it is like to warm up and walk out as a Mansfield Town player. Ollerton Stags Supporters Club have kindly donated £250 to the community trust, which will be used to identify children to be a player mascot who are deserving of the mascot experience.

Business Development Manager, Alex Cartwright, spoke about the trust’s gratitude and importance of the donation. “We really appreciate the donation from Leanne and the Ollerton Stags Supporters Club to the trust and how this allows us to give life-long experiences to local, passionate stags fan who may never get this opportunity. When Leanne initially approached myself and the trust about the donation, we wanted the funds to have a long lasting impact on those involved which led us to putting it towards the mascot experience.”

Leanne Gravil of the Ollerton Stags Supporters Club went on to add the importance of giving back to the community and being able to give to those deserving or not in a position to be mascot to be part of the experience. "Ollerton Stags are delighted to be working with the Community Trust to provide mascot packages to those who may not otherwise get to enjoy them. It will be a pleasure to give those selected a day they will never forget. OSSC are looking forward to working with the Trust in future to provide similar opportunities."

Trust staff will identify potential mascots through our various projects and programmes, which will run for the rest of the 2023/24 season.
