Despite the rain pouring from start to finish, spirits remained high at our recent Holiday Camp session. The wet weather certainly didn’t dampen the enthusiasm, as our players embraced the conditions and enjoyed every moment out on the pitch. Their energy, resilience, and positivity were fantastic to see, proving that a bit of rain can’t stop the fun when everyone is fully engaged and enjoying themselves.
Adding to the excitement of the day, we were delighted to welcome special guests George Maris and Jordan Bowery. They spent time with the group taking part in a Q&A session, where they shared their journeys into professional football, spoke about their experiences in the game, and offered valuable advice to our young players.
The session gave participants a unique opportunity to hear directly from professional athletes, ask their own questions, and gain insight into what it takes to succeed both on and off the pitch. George and Jordan also stayed afterwards to take photos and chat with the group, creating lasting memories for everyone involved.
Experiences like this are incredibly inspiring for our young players, helping them build confidence, motivation, and a deeper love for the game.
There is still limited space available for our Holiday Camps later this week, and we would love to see even more young people get involved. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to learn new skills, make friends, and create unforgettable experiences — book your place today.
