Vaughandale Construction Backs Mansfield’s Walking Football Community

Mansfield-based Vaughandale Construction Ltd has cemented its commitment to local wellbeing by teaming up with Mansfield Town Community Trust to support our ever-growing Walking Football Programme.

As part of the partnership, Vaughandale will be funding brand new training bibs, proudly featuring the company’s logo, along with a fresh set of footballs for the weekly sessions. Players will also enjoy a post-training brew in style thanks to new Vaughandale-branded coffee mugs, and the company has pledged to support the programme’s growth well into the future.

With over 34 years of experience delivering high-quality projects across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire, Vaughandale has built a reputation for excellence in alterations, refurbishments, and extensions across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and private sectors

Our Walking Football Programme, launched in 2016, has grown from just 10 participants to over 80 regular players across five sessions, including women’s football and a specialist group for those living with Parkinson’s. A recent survey showed that 85% of participants reported improved confidence and self-esteem since joining.
