Walking Footballers Take to the One Call Stadium Pitch

Last week on Tuesday 19th May, we held a special end-of-season occasion for our walking football participants, giving them the opportunity to play on the pitch at the One Call Stadium.

It was fantastic to see everyone having a great time out on the pitch, followed by tea, biscuits and social time afterwards. The session was a great way to celebrate another successful year of walking football and recognise the commitment of all those who have attended our sessions throughout the season.

A special thank you goes to all of our walking football participants for their continued support over the years. Many of those involved have been attending our sessions for a long time, and it was fantastic to celebrate the end of the season together with everyone who has helped make the programme what it is today.

We would also like to say a huge thank you to Vaughandale Construction Ltd for their continued support of our walking football programme. Since sponsoring the sessions in October, they have helped provide equipment such as bibs and mugs, while also supporting us in creating a more inclusive and connected community across Mansfield.

We’re already looking forward to another fantastic year of walking football ahead.
