Walking Football Takes Centre Stage at Community Day

Mansfield Town Community Trust’s Walking Football programme was proudly showcased during Saturday’s designated Community Day fixture at the One Call Stadium, with participants given the fantastic opportunity to play on the pitch at half-time.

The session highlighted the growing success and inclusivity of the Walking Football programme, demonstrating how it continues to provide opportunities for people of all ages to stay active, socialise, and remain connected through football.

Taking to the pitch at half-time was a real special moment for those involved, giving players the chance to perform in front of supporters and be part of a matchday atmosphere at the home of the Stags.

Walking Football is just one of the many initiatives delivered by Mansfield Town Community Trust as part of its Health & Wellbeing work, supporting people across the local area to improve physical activity, mental wellbeing, and social connection.

Walking Football sessions take place weekly at One Call Stadium:

  • Thursdays | Ages 45+ | 7:00pm – 8:00pm
