The Kevin Bird Walking Football Memorial Trophy returns for 2026, bringing together over 50s teams for a competitive and community-focused tournament in honour of Kevin Bird’s legacy. Event Details

  • Date: Tuesday, 19th May 2026

  • Venue: The One Call Stadium

  • Arrival: 9:45 – 10:00 AM

  • Kick-Off: 10:30 AM

  • Presentation: From 14:00 PM

Tournament Format

  • 7-a-side walking football

  • Maximum 12 teams (subject to demand)

  • Squad size: Up to 10 players

  • Age requirement: Over 50s (max 3 players aged 50–60)

  • Played on grass pitch

What’s Included

  • Play on the stadium pitch

  • Qualified referees

  • Trophies and medals for winners

  • Post-tournament refreshments

Entry Information

  • Cost: £160 per team

  • Booking deadline: 5th May 2026 (23:59)

All proceeds will support Mansfield Town Community Trust’s Healthier Communities programmes, promoting physical activity, mental wellbeing, and social inclusion.
