Mansfield Town Community Trust welcomes new Chief Executive Officer, Ricky Stevenson

As part of Day 4 of #EFLWeekofAction, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Ricky Stevenson as the new Chief Executive Officer of Mansfield Town Community Trust.

Following an extensive search over the past few months, Ricky joins the Trust at an exciting time in its journey — as we continue to expand our reach, strengthen partnerships, and build on the fantastic work delivered across Mansfield and the wider Nottinghamshire area.

Ricky brings with him over 25 years of experience in sport and community development, having worked with local authorities, county football associations and regional partners to deliver programmes that use the power of sport to inspire, include and support people of all ages and backgrounds.

Speaking about his appointment, Ricky said:

“I am delighted to have joined Mansfield Town Community Trust as Chief Executive Officer. Having spent much of my career working across Mansfield, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, I have witnessed first-hand the positive impact that the Trust has on people’s lives and the pride it brings to our local communities.”

He added:

“The Trust’s mission — to impact, inspire and support people throughout our communities using the influence of football — is one that truly resonates with me. There is enormous potential here, and I am excited to work with the talented team, our partners, and Mansfield Town Football Club to build on the excellent foundations already in place.”

Ricky’s appointment marks an important new chapter for the Trust, as we continue to grow our programmes across education, wellbeing, inclusion and social action. His leadership and extensive background will play a key role in shaping the Trust’s future direction and deepening our impact across the region.

“Together, we will continue to grow our reach, strengthen partnerships, and deliver programmes that make a real difference across our region,” Ricky said. “I look forward to meeting and working with our community, stakeholders, and supporters in the months ahead.”
