John Radford Trophy presented to Primary School

Premier League Primary Stars Coordinator, Remi Luke, made a surprise visit to one of Sir Edmund Hillary's assemblies last week, presenting the winning team with their John Radford Trophy!

The finals were held on Monday 11th March, with 6 schools progressing to the finals across 3 weeks of qualifying rounds!

This was the closest final we have ever seen at the Trust, with 4 teams able to win, going into the last game. With the trophy in Abbey’s hands, a late goal from St. Andrews to make the game 1-1 meant it came down to Intake Farm and Sir Edmund Hillary. The game finished 0-0, which meant Intake Farm and Sir Edmund Hillary finished on 8 points, and with 2 goal difference. It all came down to goals scored, and Sir Edmund Hillary were crowned John Radford Trophy champions with a 1 goal better difference!

We'd like to thank once again, all who participated throughout the competition, with three amazing qualifying days throughout February and March. Well done to all involved in the final and another congratulations go out to Sir Edmund Hillary!
