Ashley Hodson Visits One Call Stadium Following PFA Community Champion Recognition

It was a pleasure to welcome Ashley Hodson, Community Liaison Executive for the PFA, to the One Call Stadium on Wednesday as part of a visit with Mansfield Town Community Trust.

The visit provided a fantastic opportunity to reflect on another successful season of community engagement, celebrating the positive impact made through the Trust’s work alongside players, the ladies team, and scholars across the wider local community throughout the 2025/26 campaign.

Following her recent recognition as this season’s PFA Community Champion for the second year running, Monica Bowley also joined Ashley at the stadium for a special presentation photo to mark the achievement.

Monica’s award recognises her outstanding commitment to supporting the Trust’s work over recent seasons, including volunteering at events, tournaments, attending Premier League Kicks sessions, supporting Her Game Too fixtures, and helping to promote opportunities within the female game. As ladies club captain, Monica has become a respected role model for young players across the area through both her leadership and dedication away from the pitch.

Ashley’s visit also allowed for positive discussions around the future of community engagement and the continued development of opportunities in the community.

Everyone at Mansfield Town Community Trust would also like to wish Monica a speedy recovery from injury and look forward to continuing to work with her in the future, even in retirement!
